Business Coaching

Business coaching is typically a bespoke programme delivered on a one to one basis. Coaching aims to develop the individual and inspire them to greater success in their professional life.

We aim to coach people to believe in themselves and to have confidence in their abilities. By identifying the key skills required to do their job well, we help to focus individuals on what is most important to them and the business they work for.

Your PJW coach is there to support and encourage the individual to deliver a higher level of performance. Successful business coaching will help people achieve more in less time, be more dynamic in their approach and ultimately become rounded and complete professional.

Coaching also has benefits for the individual’s personal life. Many of the approaches and techniques that we work through can be applied to situations both inside and outside of working life.

Usually, business coaching is undertaken over a short term period of one to two hour long sessions. We work at the individual’s pace, and sessions are very fluid, there is no ‘one size fits all’ approach. Typically, the individual will call an end to the sessions at a point where they feel they have achieved what they were looking to gain from coaching.

Some of the issues we deal with when coaching staff members may be personal, changes in career, managing people and building confidence.

Management Coaching

Our management coaching is aimed at senior managers or business owners. Very often those in senior positions within a business are very isolated. Expectations on these individuals are high, and management coaching can provide the support that is very often lacking for those people at the top of an organisation.

Management coaching can seem like a luxury, but it can be the catalyst that helps take your business or career to the next level.

How Can Management Coaching Help You?

Take A Step Back

Many managers and business owners, especially in smaller companies, are so involved in the day to day running of the organisation that they don’t often take time to look at the wider picture. Your PJW coach can help you focus on your goals. Consider what’s important in your business now and also what steps you need to be taking to plan for the future.

Develop Your Leadership Techniques

Very few people take to leading teams or running a company naturally. Most of us will learn by trial and error, and it takes time to develop as a manager. Management coaching can give you someone to talk through key decisions with. If your confidence takes a knock, a coach can support you when times are tough. They can help you set goals and keep you focused on achieving them or help you understand what’s holding you back.

Challenging Your Perceptions

Many managers and business owners may have been in the role for some time. They will have developed processes and techniques for running their businesses or departments. While many of these approaches may be successful, our management coaches will encourage individuals to look at things from a different perspective.

By challenging long-held views and perceptions, we help individuals to become more adaptable. Business is a constantly evolving and managers, and business owners who are unable to adapt will find these changes difficult to cope with.
